Music
Music has been a major part of my life for over fifteen years, most notably through playing trombone. I’ve performed in a variety of ensembles both in school and beyond.
Most recently, at Gonzaga University, I played in Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band for four years as first chair in my section. I also participated in Jazz Band and Bulldog Band (pep band), performing at every home basketball game and traveling for the WCC Tournament in Vegas and March Madness. Outside of school ensembles, I played in a band with friends called GB&J, which performed local shows and released original music.
Music is one of my favorite ways to connect with others and stay grounded. I stay active in my local music community by attending live shows and working as a band manager for a grunge band called Letterbomb. Whether listening or creating, it’s also how I unwind after a long day.
Fashion/Crafts
I enjoy learning new crafting skills, such as the two examples shown. The first picture is an outfit I put together for the Seattle Torrent Barbie Night (2026), where I bedazzled the Barbie Movie’s pink cowgirl outfit to replicate Hilary Knight’s jersey. The second picture is an embroidery project I made for Chicago C2E2 (2023), replicating a “kefta” worn by Alina Starkov in the show Shadow and Bone.
